Mood Monday.
The sky is blue, the air is warm, and I am not going to crack under any pressure.
With warm clear skies, comes the opportunity to bike. With biking, comes my ability to push away all pressure.
I have a good playlist that begins with this song. It reflects my mood today. I hope you’ll take the time to listen to all 10 minutes and enjoy.
The War On Drugs is Adam Granduciel, David Hartley, and Robbie Bennett from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. An emotional struggle clearly takes place within this new beautiful album of throw back 80’s rock and Dylan-like lyrical Americana that is, Lost In A Dream. You must listen to the entire album. The song “Under The Pressure” that I feature today is my Mood Monday and this is the best sharable sound. Live isn’t always the highest quality, if you aren’t actually there, but I hope it gives you a sense of the artistry of the work. The overlaying guitars and sax addition remind me a little of Dire Straits, but The War On Drugs clearly has its own beautifully haunting sound. Simply spectacular.
