Nathaniel Rateliff has been making incredible folk, indie music for a while now. Originally from Missouri, now he is making music out of Denver, Colorado. His words can sometimes cut to the bone, as he strums his guitar and bellows his lyrics.
With Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, the music goes in another direction loaded with a smash of a more upbeat, soulful sound. I long to hear more.
They will soon release a debut EP including the song, “I Need Never Get Old”, and another that I just have to share, “Howling At Nothing”.
Go on and give it a listen…especially all my (South Carolina) shagging friends. This has the beat you can shag to and the guitar jam you can stop and really appreciate. Dance on!
