White-Blush

large-4

How are you saying goodbye to summer? Are you planning a fun in the sun holiday weekend? Are you resting and relaxing? I think I might find a chance to dance.

Yep, you read that right.

This is a video I took this summer and it brings me so much happiness. I plan to play it when the sun sets too soon and the wind chills my bones. How can you not love the beautiful dance of playful ocean birds?

Well, along those odd lines….this is a fun, out of my norm, song for the holiday weekend.

I am tapping my toes, swinging my hips, and well… air guitaring at 2:43 (pretty simple jam), then wildly picking up the drums with the female drummer. I am seriously enjoying this throw back 80’s vibe disco tune.

Try to stay still listening, I dare you.

“This is your love affair
This is your country air
This is your one true end
This is her heart to bend
This is your kind of sin
This is your kind of discipline
And with this kind of fame
Yes, it takes a lot of blows to forget your name

(Don’t break apart)
You got it all wrong
(Don’t break apart)
Yes, I, that’s why
(Don’t break apart)
You got it all wrong
(Don’t break apart)
You don’t blush…

Getting too much
So much for blood
And so much saturation
You’re dredging up desires
And looking for adulation
This is your life undone
This is what you could’ve won
Butwhen you take this track
Yes, you break a lot of hearts just to get it all back

Don’t break apart
You got it all wrong
Don’t break apart
That’s why, that’s why, that’s why
(Don’t break apart)
You got it all wrong
(Don’t break apart)
You don’t blush…

Don’t break apart
You got it all wrong
Don’t break apart
I, I, I…
(Don’t break apart)
You got it all wrong
(Don’t break apart)
You don’t blush…

Getting too much
So much for blood, you are
Why don’t they forget you when you’re young?
This is your kind of sin”

WHITE is a band from Glasgow, and they are Leo Condie: Singer, Hamish Fingland: Guitar, Chris Potter: Guitar, Lewis Andrew: Bass, and Kirstin Lynn: Drums. New and fresh and talented, they sent me their video and I was in the perfect mood to give it a thumbs up and a high five for cool factor and fun love. I want to be in the crowd when they play a gig. Their energy is uncontainable and the beat pulses in my veins. Wanna dance?
