Day 25

I am so fascinated with James Blake. Everything about his music, his style, and the musical chances he takes impresses me. I am living in the heart of rap nation in Atlanta, Ga. I really don’t appreciate it like I probably should. I tend to like the older rap style, when it was a fast paced storytelling and I didn’t have to close my ears to the words that I really can’t explain. I know it’s pretty lame, but that is my reality.

When I watched this video….I may have changed my mind. The pairing of Blake’s classic voice and style, and the rambling rap of Chance is a wonderful combination of sound. It works so well. Listen for yourself and enjoy!
