Music Midtown 2015-Alessia Cara, The Airborne Toxic Event, Elle King, and Rozzi Crane

The countdown is on, and Music Midtown is almost here. Together, we have reviewed the bands playing on Friday, and now I want to share the choices for Saturday of the Festival.

Here ya’ go!

Alessia Cara

Alessia Cara is an R&B pop singer from Canada. She made her presence known as a You Tube singer that covered a bunch of famous songs (examples she slays are Taylor Swift, Sam Smith, and Amy Winehouse). She has some serious pipes and a style that is formed from her youthful view, but she sings with incredible maturity and an all knowing unique way. Experience a young rising star and listen to her hit, “Here”.

Okay, what band can drop two albums at the same time? Amazing, but even more amazing is the fact that each album is vastly different and both are powerful in their own right. There are many hits from this band to feature, but I wanted to play their newest. Here is a sample of two songs from each new album, worth listening for on Saturday. Lovely love songs….

Elle King

What can I say that I haven’t already disclosed….here. She is one you should be sure to see on Saturday. She has a foot stomping, kick ass singing style. I can’t wait to see her live, on stage. Bet this song will be in the setlist!

Rozzi Crane

Rosalind Elizabeth ‘Rozzi’ Crane, is a singer/songwriter from San Francisco. She recently signed to Adam Levine’s record labelĀ  (the first one to sign!) and has toured with his band. She has a Soul, Pop and R&B sound. Listen to her latest tune, “Psycho”…

Just a few more hours and Music Midtown will be in full swing.

Let’s Go!
