Happy International Women’s Day- A Female Artist Shout-Out!

gallery-1488923964-shutterstock-8477323e.jpg

Thank you to the female creatives, voices, instrumentalists, songwriters, and role models of music. For today, I want to list all of the women of indie music that I have shared over the years I have been blogging.

Ah Hem….the list in daunting, and frankly a tough typing skill (so early forgiveness for a typo or a missed one). I have blogged 167 female artists out of my 445 posts. Darn, that is less than half, pretty indicative of the world. If you are a female artist, I hope you are inspired by the talent I present here. I truly hope that number grows exponentially!

As I wrote them all down, I felt incredible pride in sharing their creativity and ingenuity, and empowerment. They are all songs and music I have literally cried, danced, and swooned over. So…if you think you might want to check out my posts, all you have to do is copy and paste the name and put it in the search.

May the female sparks of brightness and innovativeness never burn out! xo
