Mt Wolf-Hex
Mt Wolf is a band of three, out of London, Sebastian Fox (singer and producer), Stevie McMinn (guitarist), and Al Mitchell (drummer). They have been making music for a few years, but came on my radar as a band heading to SXSW in Austin this week. The song is “Hex” and the first of two releases from their upcoming 2016 album. This song has a dreamy almost haunting quality to it. The combination of acoustic and electronic elements produces a full six minutes of loveliness, don’t you think?
The beginning of the week seems like the perfect time to listen to a song which helps to ease a messy mind, one with too much to do and too little time to complete those tasks. As I listen, I am restored and will continue on!
