It is amazing to me that a little simple little ditty can pack such a powerful punch. Sylvan Esso recently shared a cover of “There Are Many Ways To Say I Love You” from the classic PBS kids show Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood. This song surprisingly doesn’t unfold their signature quirky dance beats. It simply expresses love through an acoustic and folksy instrumentation accompanied by the soft delicate vocals of Amelia Meath.

There is so much to appreciate about this simple two minute song….especially if you, like me, have been out and about hoping to find the perfect gifts for the ones you love. Gift giving can be incredibly hard, especially when you want the present to reflect exactly how you feel, and how you pay attention.
But maybe, as the song suggests, love is an action and not a thing or an object.
My wish is that you will be with the ones you love this Holiday Season and find special ways to express how much you really care.
Merry Christmas and the Happiest of Holidays to you all!
