Nico Yaryan-Just Tell Me

Life shouldn’t get in the way of love.

As much as you try, finances, distance, family, life stages, or stress can cause many frustrations and can put cracks in the foundation of any solid, strong relationship. How does the loving, romantic feeling of a fluttering heart change and morph to worry and fear? Maybe the repair can happen quickly when one reaches out with love, and the other provides compassionate understanding.

Or maybe, all you need is an outstanding song. Hmm….

Nico Yaryan-Just Tell Me

“I don’t know why, I do what I do
But I do it to you
I’ve been trying to work my way through
And I do it for you
You know that I’m true

I’ve been making you wait so long
Does it feel like we’ve come and gone?
Tell me baby are we still on?
Just tell me the love is strong

I don’t know where we’re gonna go
But I’ll go there with you
Time goes fast and then time goes slow
It’s made me a fool, you know that I’m true

I’ve been making you wait so long
Does it feel like we’ve come and gone?
Tell me baby are we still on?
Just tell me the love is strong
I’ve been making you wait so long
Does it feel like we’ve come and gone?
Tell me baby are we still on?
Just tell me the love is strong”

Nico Yaryan is a drummer, turned singer, who fell in love with a gal while drumming on tour in Amsterdam. The long distance after moving to LA on his return and maintaining a relationship that far away, took a toll on his heart, but actually created a great song. He shares on a press release,

“I wrote this song when I was feeling strain in my long distance relationship, and I knew it had been too long between visits. I didn’t have the money to book a trip to Amsterdam where my girlfriend lived, and I was feeling selfish that I had chosen to live in LA to pursue my music. It takes a lot of work to maintain a relationship when someone lives on the other side of the planet, and I wasn’t being good about making our Skype dates on time, or being as present as I could have been. So this song is a sort of plea to her.”

New on the scene, and definitely an artist to watch, Nico Yaryan is beginning to make a name for himself.

Nico Yaryan….I long for more, but until then I will play this tune on repeat!
